Thanks to its extended piping length, the DVM S ECO offers maximum flexibility when it comes to deployment. It allows for a level difference of up to 50m between indoor and outdoor units, and a pipe length up to 150m. This generous variation lets businesses customise systems to operate efficiently in a wide range of situations.

The DVM S WATER air conditioning system saves money and the environment, while providing a powerful performance. Its innovative Dual Inverter Compressor with a high efficiency Vapor Injection System ensures powerful, rapid cooling and heating with minimum energy consumption, so it’s very eco-friendly. A Plate Heat Exchanger also improves the heat exchange efficiency and ensures stable cooling and heating performances.

Flexible installation almost anywhere

The DVM S WATER air conditioning system can be installed almost anywhere, regardless of its location or distance from the building. It has a maximum piping length of up to 170 meters (558 feet) between the outdoor and indoor units, while still ensuring complete reliability. It can also reach up to a height of 50 meters (164 feet), which is the equivalent of 10 stories.

Independently cool and heat

With the DVM S WATER air conditioning system’s optional Mode Control Unit (MCU) you can independently cool and heat different spaces at the same time. Instead of just heating or cooling all spaces at the same time, with the MCU each indoor unit can be operated separately, so you can simultaneously heat some rooms or areas of the building, while cooling others.

Optimal water flow controller

The DVM S WATER air conditioning system’s built-in Water Flow Controller helps control the amount of water used to cool and heat the outdoor unit. It determines the optimum flow of water based on the internal temperature of the spaces, so the circulation pump’s energy consumption is optimized and costs reduced. And because it†s provided as standard there’s no need to buy a separate water flow control kit.

Louver-less installation

The DVM S WATER air conditioning system’s louver-less installation ensures that the outside of your building stays looking neat and tidy. Because it’s cooled with water, there’s no need to install unsightly louver to allow air to circulate and remove excess heat. So it can be easily installed inside a building, without impacting on the integrity of its architectural design.

Minimal noise for maximum comfort

The DVM S WATER air conditioning system has a low noise level, so it won’t impact on your building’s environment or disturb anyone at work. In particular, because it uses a water-cooled Plate Heat Exchanger, there†s no noise caused by the fan of an outdoor unit, and the hermetically sealed case of the outdoor unit and compressor felt reduce any other noise coming out.

Perfectly compatible with WindFree indoor units

WindFree Cooling and Active Frequency Drive 10Hz

Enjoy continuous comfort and avoid wasting energy. The DVM S2 range is compatible with our WindFree products* that feature our unique WindFree technology to cool gently and quietly by dispersing fresh air through thousands of micro-holes to avoid any unpleasant cold drafts**. Active Frequency Drive 10Hz technology enables the compressor to precisely control a small amount of refrigerant. So it maintains a more consistent temperature.

* DVM S2 is compatible with the WindFree 4-Way and 1-Way Cassette and the WindFree Deluxe.

Uses less refrigerant due to slimmer liquid line

Slimmer Liquid Pipe

Save installation cost with efficient piping. The DVM S2 uses 28% less refrigerant* as it can use a slimmer liquid pipe**. As a result, it reduces installation and maintenance costs and improves design flexibility. In addition, by using less refrigerant it is more environmentally friendly, as it reduces CO₂ emissions.

* When a slimmer pipe, instead of a normal pipe, is used for the Main Liquid Pipe on the same capacity of air conditioning system, the amount of refrigerant to be charged can be reduced by 28% on average.
** Optional. A slimmer pipe can be used for the Main Liquid Pipe, between an outdoor unit and the first branch of indoor units. The diameter of the slimmer pipe will vary depending on the diameter of the pipe that is normally used. Not available on the 22.4kW and 28kW models. It may not be available in certain installation conditions, and is not compatible with the AI functions of outdoor units. Reduces the disturbance of fan noise

Multi-serration Fan & Diffuser Type Discharge Plenum

Reduce disturbance caused by air turbulence. A Multi-serration Fan* minimises the turbulence of the air vortex, which reduces the air resistance. The discharge plenum’s edgeless, curved design also allows the fan to gently diffuse air without creating a vortex**.

Lasting protection, optimal performance

Safeguard the Heat Exchanger from damaging corrosion. The Durafin Ultra has an anti-corrosive layer and a hydrophilic layer that protects the Heat Exchanger from rust. Its superb corrosion-resistance was proven in a Salt Spray Test (SST)*.

Anti-rust Protection extends lifespan

Galvanized Iron Steel Plate (GI)

Inhibit the formation of rust on the cabinet. It is made of Galvanized Iron Steel Plate (GI) with a PE powder coating that is up to 100µm thick, which improves corrosion-resistance by 43%*. It protects it from rusting, so it can endure harsh conditions.

* Based on internal testing using corrosion chambers, Q-FOG and CCT-1100. The Complex Cycle Test (CCT) includes cycles of spray (for 2 hours at 35°C), dry (for 4 hours at 60°C with 30% Relative Humidity) and damp (for 2 hours at 50°C with 95% Relative Humidity) conditions. As a result, the Galvanized Iron Steel Plate (GI) formed red rust after 240 hours, which is 43% slower than general Electro-Galvanized Steel Plate (EGI) which forms red rust after 168 hours.
